Patch 1.12.9 has been released!
- Added: SAMERES parameter
- Changed: With resolutions above 1024 wide the face panel now scales
It's extremely important to make Original War working fluently and without any problems.
Stucuk (OWSupport.com) has prepared a platform for BUG Reporting:

Report any bug and problem there. Help the community and yourself by reporting bugs, errors and synclosts!
Note: When reporting Access Violations only reports done with 1.12.9 or higher will be looked into.

Hi dears members of OWN & OW community.
I'd like to share an important news with you. Actually, we have found a way to get less desync in Original War.
All began in the french community. We were searching a new tool to play old games like Theme Hospital (hamachi was not working on the old games like this one) and we found Evolve. Indeed, Evolve gives a better sync to the players and it makes a sort of private proxy. At the beginning, we didn't make any bound to Original War, thinking it could not change anything.
We continued playing with Evolve and it appeared that our games on OW were not getting desync anymore and yet, we are playing a strange mod with a lot of strange functions that use to crash the game - we think. We decided to make some tests and then we can conclude that Evolve is the tool to use to avoid sync lost : our games used to crash every 2-3 hours but, now, it doesn't crash anymore and we can play more than 6-7 hours (without having any desync).

Year of 2013 has ended, so it's a time to summarize it.
Who knows what challenges we would face in 2014? Lots of good mods, online matches and other interesting things - we can tell it for sure! Maybe a new patch? Arabian campaign? We'll see!

We wish you a happy New Year !
From France (despite our inactivity), we saw that this year ended with a good atmosphere thanks to the tournament and the Facebook page of OW.net (https://www.facebook.com/originalwar). We must continue to develop and play Original War because it is really interesting to know all about the "new features & mods" we can make and the game is always enjoyable. This is great, as the community lives for long !
To celebrate it, as french administrators (Lucas and me), we will send you a new mod that we are making, which is going to be translated in english.
Keep enjoying Original War ! (and its roleplay atmosphere)
